I must admit, I don’t use my air fryer as often as I think I could, but one of my go to staple to bring it out for is this gochujang-miso salmon. It takes minimal effort and very little clean up, making it a perfect weeknight meal.

How to Make Gochujang Miso Salmon in the Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb salmon 
  • 1 tbsp gochujang 
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 in of ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

To serve: Top with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve with vegetable of your choice, and rice. 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the gochujang, miso paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Marinate the salmon for 30-60 minutes. 
  3. Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cover the air fryer basket with foil and add the salmon. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 145 degrees. 
  4. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve with vegetable of your choice, and rice.
